This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile app StarLagna (Android package com.starlagna.lagna), published by Elsy Solutions LLC (“Elsy Solutions”, “we”, “us”). It is a public page for the Google Play listing.

1. What the app is

StarLagna provides Vedic and Western astrology: birth charts, daily horoscopes, panchang, compatibility (matchmaking), numerology, remedies, AI chat, and palm reading. Readings are for entertainment and personal reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

2. Information we collect

Account. Name, email address, and a hashed password, or your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google.

Birth and profile details you enter. Date, time, and place of birth (from a city list), gender, preferred astrology system, language, and birth details of people you add for compatibility. Only add someone else’s details with their permission.

Palm photos. Photos you take or upload for a palm reading are sent to the palm scanner for that request, and we keep the photo on our servers with the reading. We also keep the full reading: hand shape, fingers, lines (depth, shape, quality, and meaning), mounts, special marks, and each life-area meaning.

Messages. Questions you ask the AI astrologer and the replies.

Device and usage. Device model, operating system, app version, crash logs, general app usage, an advertising ID used by our ad provider, and a push notification token if you allow notifications. We do not collect precise GPS. Birth place is converted to coordinates only to calculate your chart.

3. How we use it

Calculate charts, horoscopes, panchang, and compatibility
Generate AI readings, chat replies, remedies, and palm readings
Save your profile and history so you can return to them
Send notifications you have turned on
Show ads that keep the app free
Fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the app

We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI processing

Written readings, chat, and remedies are generated with OpenAI, with Google Vertex AI as a backup. Palm measurements come from AstrologyAPI. We send the relevant chart details, question, or palm photo to that provider for the request. The palm photo is stored privately with the reading and is removed when you delete that person or your account.

5. Third-party services

Google Sign-In — optional login (name and email)
AstrologyAPI — palm measurements. The photo is sent for that request, and we also keep our own copy
OpenAI — written readings, chat replies, and remedies
Google Vertex AI — backup for written readings, and image help when needed
Google AdMob — ads on store builds (may use your advertising ID)
Expo push — daily reminders, if you opt in
Our hosting provider — storing app data on secure servers

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in Android settings.

6. Retention

Account, profile, chart, chat, matches, and readings: while the account is active
Palm photos, measurements, and meanings: kept with the account, and deleted with that person or the account
Server logs: up to 90 days
After you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where law requires keeping it

7. Your choices

In the app you can edit your profile, delete readings, chats, and saved people, turn notifications off, and delete your account under Profile.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, or to object to certain processing.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is completely secure.

9. Children

StarLagna is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

Providers may process data in countries other than yours. We use providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for important changes, notify you in the app.
