This page explains how to delete data associated with Elsy Social Publisher, the Elsy Solutions app that connects to Facebook and Instagram to publish content to Pages we manage.

It satisfies Meta’s requirement for a User Data Deletion Instructions URL. Our full privacy practices are in the Privacy Policy.

What data we store

If Facebook Login for Business (or a related token) was used with our app, we may store:

Facebook user ID and name of the person who connected the app
Facebook Page IDs, names, and Page access tokens
Linked Instagram professional account IDs and usernames
Post captions, image URLs, schedule times, and Facebook/Instagram post IDs we created
Publish status and API error messages

How to request deletion

Email us from the address associated with the Facebook account (or your Elsy contact email):

Subject: Data Deletion Request — Elsy Social Publisher

Please include:

Your name
The Facebook name or user ID used to authorize the app
Any Facebook Page names you want removed
The email we should use to confirm deletion

You can also send the same request through our contact form.

What we delete

Within 30 days of a verified request we will:

Revoke and delete stored Facebook and Page access tokens
Remove Page and Instagram channel records tied to that authorization
Delete or de-identify queued and published post records created through that connection
Email you confirmation when the deletion is complete

We may retain a minimal log of the request itself (date, email, and that deletion was completed) for security and to demonstrate compliance.

Remove the app from Facebook yourself

You can also disconnect the app on Facebook without waiting for us:

Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings
Open Apps and websites
Select Elsy Social Publisher (or the Elsy Solutions Meta app name shown there)
Choose Remove

Removing the app on Facebook stops new access. Email us as well if you want copies we already stored deleted from our systems.
